Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end procurement activities for both inventory (reagent , consumable ) and non-inventory items/ service , ensuring compliance, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Review and analyze purchase requests from internal departments for non-inventory, ensuring clarity in specifications, technical standards, quality requirements, and quantities
- Collaborate closely with Lab and corporate teams to clarify technical specifications, demand forecasting, and execute Monthly Order for Inventory (reagents, consumables)
- Source, evaluate, and propose suitable suppliers based on cost, quality, reliability, and service.
- Conduct price negotiations and evaluate quotations to ensure competitive and value-driven procurement.
- Manage the full procurement process: request for quotation (RFQ), quotation comparison, negotiation, contract preparation, purchase order issuance, and follow-up.
- Coordinate closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure proper understanding of technical specifications and delivery schedules.
- Track and manage contract and PO performance, ensuring alignment with agreed terms.
- Ensure procurement practices comply with internal policies, local regulations, and customs requirements. Maintain neat, accurate, and up-to-date procurement records and reports.
Requirement:
- Experience: Proven experience in procurement/purchasing and logistics (handling both inventory & non-inventory). Experience in Laboratory, Diagnostics, or Healthcare industry is a strong plus.
- Skills:
- Good negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written) for international sourcing.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel for data analysis). Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) is an advantage.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
