Key Procurement Tasks
- Receiving purchase request from functions, analyze request & demand (specification, technical standards, quality requirement, quantity...) and sourcing the suitable vendors.
- Negotiating with vendors to obtain the best deal and performing cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
- Prepare procurement plan: purchase request, required specification, supplier quality, lead-time, etc. Closely follow up the procurement process including request for quotations, negotiate with suppliers, recommend best offers (in terms of incoterms, price, quality, service, and cost), contract signature, purchase order, etc.
- Proactively liaising between suppliers/vendors and technical personnel to ensure the specification of goods and the supply timely.
- Prepare, manage, and keep tracking of Contract/POs performance.
- Ensuring procurement compliance: customs regulation, law....
Key Logistic Tasks
- Order tracking & logistics management: forwarder booking, import logistics, customs clearance.
- Checking shipping documents (Commercial invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, CO, etc)
- Coordinate with outsourced Forwarders to handle customs clearance process for imported goods.
- Coordinate delivery schedule to the company.
Other Task: Lead, supervise and support a team of 3 members to ensure smooth daily operations and achievement of department objectives.
Requirement:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Confident in communication with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal departments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including data analysis and reporting), PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Solid experience in procurement and logistics operations.
- Candidates with experience in the laboratory, diagnostics, or healthcare industry will be preferred.
